Indah Huegele is a professional paleobotanist with a lifelong passion for fossils and the fascinating, beautiful, and sometimes alien world of plants. Pressing plants, gardening, and collecting fossils from a very young age, Indah’s passion for both plants and fossils naturally came together; she now spends most of her time doing paleobotanical research and learning about the lives and evolution of extinct plants. In 2020, she helped Nareerat edit a book on the science, beauty, and cultural history of petrified wood around the world. Her passion for fossil plants and her early history as an amateur fossil hunter motivated her to co-found this organization, which aims to celebrate paleobotanical resources and captivate life-long learners, both professional and non-professional.
